Special Projects:
Green Carpet LOVES teachers and made a special visit to Olmos Elementary to grill burgers in appreciation for all of the teachers and what they are doing! Afterwards, Jeff was asked to judge the Dr. Suess door decorating contest! Such a fun day spent with some really awesome new friends!
Green Carpet held their first annual Free Rugs for Teachers event in August of 2019 and it was a HUGE success! We had over 400 teachers show up, some arriving at 5am to wait outside the doors in order to guarantee a rug. We gave away over $20,000 in rugs to teachers and were able to personally thank each of them for what they do for the children of San Antonio and the surrounding areas. We are hoping to continue this wonderful event each year.
In 2019, Green Carpet Company had the honor of being a part of the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway. Along with Shaw Floors, Green Carpet was able to donate time and materials for all of the flooring in this gorgeous home. All ticket sales for the Dream Home are given to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This was one of our favorite projects and we are so proud of the work that this organization does for children and their families.
